I can relate to the work of Burtynsky for my project mostly from those i looked at. His work is always geared towards the impact of progress of industry and construction on the world in amazing photographs, which do justice to the scale of damage thats been done. They leave you in a state of wonderment about the costs to the environment our needs to be consumers of everything and just about anything.
His website is really worth a look at as is his ted page and video as he won an award in 2005.
