Familiarisation and first attempt

Before we could all go racing off to the far flung corners of down town Hartlepool we had to familiarise ourselves with the camera by doing portraits of each other. I said at the time that i bet at least one of us messed up this and didnt get a negative to develope and i was right,it was me(nearly)

I mistook the latch for keeping the aperture open for the shutter release and opened it up fully and this is the result..

Sophie isnt really posing like she knows how with all her selfie practice and ive been added to the shot. Not totally ruined by light but not exactly off to a flying start either. I wont do that again...
