My chosen subject is...

Jacksons Landing!

The now empty shopping center sits at the heart of arguably Hartlepool's most affluent area, the marina. Built to be the go to discount brands shopping center for everyone within 15 miles however that dream was short lived. Within 18 months of opening pretty much all of the vendors had left leaving a massive ghost ship type silhouette in the bay. Now regarded as a white elephant after being empty for around 10 years Hartlepool Borough Council have bought it but the only purpose i have seen is to be turned into a giant car park for local businesses. I chose it due partly for its look, there is nothing else like it anywhere i have seen and partly for its history and location,I love a bit of water in a landscape photography.
